'Who do you think you are, darling?'

this is a depiction of myself pointing my hand as a gun at, well, myself. i've been feeling like this for quite a while. tense, no self-control or self-esteem, constantly on the edge, more complex shit like that, etcetera. some people can relate, i guess. i just wanted to express part of it somehow. see ya.

This seems like a beautiful representation of depression to me. I love the look and feel of it. Very, very beautiful!!

Hope this art helps. I also suggest getting help if it becomes too much

Feelings, especially stronger and darker ones, usually produce something very intense.
(just an example...Van Gogh...)
So they're useful in someway, but i wish you better days after them, because art should help to leave them on paper. I often feel better.

A hug :) and thank you for your beautiful art, i can appreciate it very much.

When I feel down, I get either an artistic high, or an artistic drought. I like to take pictures of things, but for quite some time I have been dealing with quite the round of depression/anxiety/panic/etc. It is always something.

I hope you get feeling better.

When I am down I write poetry which helps me to get over things and feel better, I guess drawing might be your way of coming to terms with yourself. So, just do more of those, they may lift some weight off your heart :)

When I get like this (which is less often than I used to), I ask myself; who I wanted to be when I was 8, then 13, then 16, then 20.
I'm 22 now, and only just got a handle on becoming the person that I have always wanted to be. Its a pale reflection, to be truthful. But,
I think that as I mature I get to understand the dichotomy of my wishes. And have more concept of how to achieve a balance.

I guess, the important part of my rant is, that- only YOU know who you THINK you are, and only you are capable(and/or)responsible for bringing the REAL you to the surface.
I don't know you personally, Andrahilde. But here, to me (and to your other fans) you are a fantastic artist. And if you were wondering, for us, that is certainly more than a good enough start :)

I definitely feel you on this one. Ever since I moved out in Australia I've been going insane and all I've wanted to do is just either shoot myself, or hide away somewhere where I can be left alone. Everything is pissing me off ten times more than it did back home, and because of where I live (up in the hills), there is fuck all for me to do.

Either way this is an amazing piece. Keep up the good work!

I hope you gain some self esteem and self control :O
I mean. Self esteem should come easy for you, your art is so amazing~! Maybe you should try relaxing some? or is it not possible to relax, is that what you mean? Sorry I'm budging in when I'm a complete stranger ;;

This is hauntingly beautiful, and definitely very relatable. I love that the shadows surrounding her seem to be swallowing her up. I do hope your stress goes away (even if it was the source for this amazing piece).

Love you Andra. <3 Sorry you're going through a rough time. I hope drawing this made you feel a bit better, because I would feel awesome if I drew anything like that. (;

Nice art but what stopped me is the description you wrote. In such situation, my advice would be to take some time off whatever you're doing and just relax for a few days. Make time for yourself in order to find the calm which will allow you to think about your situation and solutions. Remember that we are all extraordinary and we all have the potential to accomplish anything we want, as long as we allow ourselves to try. You can be everything you want to be. If your ego/subconscious doesn't believe it, spank it until it gives in ;)

Really nice palette, it exactly brings tinglin feeling to my brains. Emotions can be hard but just remeber that this is what art is made of. Hope you feel better. :heart:

The feelings like that are hard to deal with at times. Expressing it is a great way to deal. I do the same and it feels better for a while. Hope the gloomies go away quickly.

Same with me...but I've been feeling paranoid as well as what you mentioned though...
but... I'm not one to point a gun to my head...just everyone's.
sasookay Featured By Owner Sep 19, 2012
It's funny because, I can totally see your current emotion in this. Not the gun to the head, but how you colored it and drew it. While it's still fantastic like your others, it doesn't show that full passion that I KNOW I see in your art. UvU Take a break, I promise anything you're going through will get better! <3

It reminds me a bit of Kimbra's new music video, Come into my Head-- even though it doesn't really say much on the concept of self-destruction...

I really like this :D Your style always has this gritty, dark quality that I'm totally in love with.

I love the art, but I'm sad that you feel that way. How bittersweet. I hope you feel better :hug:
